The group of centres Semen Cardona, devoted to the production of seminal doses for boars artificial insemination, offers its high quality products at international level, both in Europe and also the called East countries. On the other side, Semen Cardona also exports to South East Asia, as well as South America.
Distribution of the seminal doses at international level can last, depending on the country, between 2 and 3 days, and they can be acquired in fresh (16º) or frozen (-196º) and in different formats like blister, pipe or Gedis and in the case of frozen semen in straws of 0.5ml.
Semen Cardona was the first approved centre of artificial insemination all around Spain authorised to export its products abroad. This is owing to the fact that multigenetic CIA accomplishes all European normative, which allowed the approval of facilities and obtaining the certification of CIA authorised for intercommunity commerce and exportation to third countries, being registered in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food with the number E-02-05-P and the Section of Centres of Genetic Material Recollection in the Farming Exploitations Register in the Department of Agriculture, Farming and Fishery of Generalitat of Catalonia, with the number B6100001.
