Semen Cardona with over 20 years of experience in the swine sector began working in rabbit breeding in 2008. Aware of the differences between the two sectors and the special aspects of production in each specie, Semen Cardona still has one main objective: to offer swine and rabbit seminal doses of maximum genetic and sanitary quality.
We have established strict regulations to control the critical areas in the production process of the rabbit seminal doses. Our technology is used in the entire process in order to carry out analyses of semen quality, microbiology and viability.
The final product is rabbit semen that meets all the CEE legal sanitary requirements.
Rabbit semen doses are available in two formats:
- Single dose: the catheter is already prepared with the semen doses inside, conserved in a gel extender that mells with the body temperature of the rabbit upon insemination.
- In bulk: Tubes of 15, 50 and 100 ml. The extender is liquid and each dose is field upon insemination.
